How the score works
The same maths World Athletics uses: result and placing points, combined and averaged. The app knows which rules apply to your event and applies them for you.
Your mark is converted to points on the official scoring table. A faster time or bigger distance means a bigger number.
Where you finished, weighted by how strong the competition was. A win at a Diamond League counts for far more than a win at a local meet.
result + placing = performance. Your best five performances, averaged, is your ranking score.
